Dialysis Assistant - Join Our Renal Care Team!

At Diaverum, we're thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for individuals to join our team in Blackburn as a Dialysis Assistant. In this vital role, you'll support our nursing staff and deliver top-notch care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assisting registered nurses in providing comprehensive dialysis treatment.
• Preparing, restoring, and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.
• Monitoring and stocking consumable supplies to ensure smooth operation.
• Escorting patients to and from the clinical area.
• Contributing to patient documentation and managing phone inquiries.
• Providing hands-on care under supervision, including preparing patients for dialysis, monitoring during treatment, and assisting with post-dialysis care.

Requirements:

• GCSE education and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.
• At least two years of experience as a Health Care Assistant, with a focus on high-level patient care.
• Previous experience working in a DA capacity
• Proficiency in English and working knowledge of MS Office.
• A compassionate and diligent approach to patient care.

• Full-time position (37.5 hours per week), with paid breaks.
• Monday to Saturday shifts, with no night or Sunday work.
