Job summary

Diaverum invites experienced and motivated dialysis healthcare professionals to apply to lead one of the Gloucester clinics. In this senior position, you'll have full responsibility for one clinic, ensuring medical excellence and meeting financial performance objectives.

Main duties of the job

Full responsibility and accountability for the daily operational and clinical management, in order to meet quality outcomes for medical and financial performance.

Clinic Manager Opportunity

Diaverum invites experienced and motivated dialysis healthcare professionals to apply to lead one of the Gloucester clinics. In this senior position, you'll have full responsibility for one clinic, ensuring medical excellence and meeting financial performance objectives.

Gloucester are new clinics for Diaverum and as there are 4 clinics we are seeking 3 Nursing Leaders to fill these posts, 3 clinics are based in the main Royal Gloucester Hospital and the last in our Forest unit based in Cinderford. You will have the option to state your preference on which clinic location you are interested in.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Full operational and clinical management of the clinic(s), maintaining high care and quality outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations, and preparing the clinic for audits.
  • Instigating continuous improvement activities at clinic and management levels.
  • Effective financial management, including budget planning and cost control.
  • Supervising, training, and supporting staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with referring Client Organisation/s and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:

  • Level 1 Nurse Registered with the NMC, with a post-basic qualification in renal nursing.
  • Experience in Haemodialysis and ability to lead nursing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of specialist nurses and practitioners.
  • Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and its implications for Independent Healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
