Job summary

Are you a qualified, NMC registered, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) School Nurse or have a minimum of 2 years working as a Community Staff Nurse within School Nursing (or are a student SCPHN School Nurse, qualifying in the next few months)?

Do you have:

• A willingness to train and progress.
• Ability to work autonomously and yet be part of a wider team.
• Qualities of leadership and be willing to take responsibility and make appropriate decisions.

Main duties of the job

We have within Waltham Forest excellent opportunities within our 0-19 team for innovative and motivated School Nurses who are keen to contribute to the further development of our service.

We have excellent partnership working with Waltham Forest Public Health Service, Primary and Secondary Schools, and General Practitioners to enable the Best Start in life and optimisation of health outcomes for children and young people.
