Respiratory NurseOneMK PCN
Fixed-term (12 months) | 30 hours per week (0.75 FTE)

OneMedical Group is excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and forward-thinking Respiratory Nurse to join our OneMK PCN. This is a fantastic time to join us as we continue to grow and shape our services across our Milton Keynes practices: Whitehouse, Neath Hill and Brooklands.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will take the lead in delivering high-quality asthma and COPD care, helping patients take control of their long-term conditions through personalised, proactive support.
Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll also play a key role in supporting and developing colleagues, while contributing to service improvement and innovation across the PCN.
This is more than a clinical role; its an opportunity to shape care, drive improvements, and have a genuine impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive asthma and COPD reviews
- Initiate investigations and perform/interpret spirometry (where qualified)
- Develop and manage personalised care plans, empowering patients to manage their conditions
- Identify and support patients at risk of respiratory disease
- Recommend and prescribe inhaled therapies in line with guidance (where qualified)
- Provide education on inhaler technique and medication use
- Deliver respiratory vaccinations, including influenza and pneumonia
- Undertake home visits where required
- Maintain high-quality clinical records
- Provide expert advice on long-term respiratory care
- Support QOF and enhanced service delivery
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
- Support and guide the wider nursing team
