One Medical Group are looking for an astute self-organised Resource and Onboarding Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring that we are providing a first-class onboarding experience for all new/returning employees.
This is a part-time (24 hours per week) fixed-term contract (6 months). There is some flexibility regarding work days, therefore the shift pattern can be agreed at interview stage.
Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Workforce and Culture function, this key role will take over the recruitment process from when a candidate is offered a position until the employee has commenced in post. They will be responsible for ensuring that all pre-employment checks are completed in line with the national standards on right to work checks as well as following the NHS safer recruitment guidelines.
To be successful in this role, the post holder will have strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise effectively with all stakeholders: hiring managers, new/returning employees as well as other external partners.
Note: This role will require working from our base office at Bank Top Support Centre, Black Hill Rd, Leeds LS21 1PY.Please note that there is no public transport to our head office , so own transport would be required. Our offices are surrounded by fields and pathways and it's just minutes away from Golden Acre Park. If you are a dog lover, this is the best place for you. This is a dog-friendly office, therefore we regularly have at least one dog around to share some love, bring smiles on our faces and "kindly ask" if we have any treats.

What the On-boarding Administrator will be working on
- Support each candidate through their onboarding journey making sure that this is an effective, reliable and responsive service
- Provide advice and support to managers on the onboarding process
- Be the main point of contacts for all candidates who are going through onboarding and maintain regular communication with them
- Understand the pre-employment check requirements in line with local, regional and national guidelines and legislation
- Proactively chase references and pre-employment checks with candidates and other key stakeholders
- Issue contracts and new starter forms to candidates prior to their start date
- Setup the new employee on all relevant IT Systems prior to employee start date
- Identify, resolve and escalate issues to the appropriate manager as necessary, if applicable
- Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure that the new starter is handed over to the Group Trainer and Learning & Development Coordinator to support their induction and onboarding into the Group, the service and their role
- Support the Recruitment Coordinator with front end recruitment, including advertising, longlisting, shortlisting, setting up and inviting candidates to interview and ensuring that
