Job summary

OneMedical Group are looking for a passionate ACP Quality Lead to join our team. The ACP Quality Lead, will lead the team across our Urgent Care sites in Leeds to ensure that quality and Care Quality Commissioning (CQC) readiness at the centre, is at the forefront of what we deliver as a service

Main duties of the job

The ACP Quality Lead will ensure that safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the service we deliver are of the highest priority, providing the best outcomes for the patients that use the service and those that are employed by the service. They will have high standards and expectations to ensure that the team is delivering high quality care to patients and clients, creating an environment where this can flourish.

Job description

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a team that are making a huge impact in supporting the urgent and emergency care system within Leeds, with the opportunity to influence how future urgent care services develop, and drive quality improvement, and work with a brilliant team.

The ACP Quality Lead is expected to harness a working environment which encourages team work, energy and creativity. To achieve this, they will have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills, along with good communication and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with the Quality and Risk Lead and CQC lead for One Medical Group, and, with external partners within the CQC.

As an experienced Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner, the post holder will utilise expert clinical knowledge to manage patients presenting with acute, undifferentiated problems in addition to those with chronic long term conditions. Likewise, they will assess, diagnose and plan care for patients; including prescribing of medications where qualified to do so, and where clinically indicated.

  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • First Level registered Nurse (NMC), ECP , ACP
  • Relevant Degree
  • MSc in advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ANP courses at level 6 or 7 ,or equivalent in, Advanced Physical Assessment skills, Minor Illness, disease management. Paediatrics etc.
  • A Non-medical prescribing qualification
  • Teaching qualification i.e 998 (desirable)
  • Satisfactory DBS clearance
