Job summary

OneMedical Group is growing in Milton Keynes. From 1st of September 2023 we will be delivering excellent care services to patients and communities across 3 sites in Milton Keynes: Brooklands, Whitehouse and Neath Hill surgeries. Thus, were looking for dedicated salaried General Practitioners to work across these services in Milton Keynes, to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of service to all our patients in the area.

Main duties of the job

If you are an experienced GP, or new to your journey and career as a GP, we are looking to hear from you. You'll be working with a great local team and will have the support of the wider NHS Services Leadership team and our Support Centre teams as well. Within this role you will be undertaking clinical and administrative sessions, making autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients.

On a standard day, you will manage patients with complex and long-term health conditions proactively, ensuring we are able to support our patients in staying well. You will also support the wider MDT by provider expert advice and guidance.

You will work alongside a wider multi-Disciplinary Team including: Practices Nurses, ACPs, Wellbeing Advisors, Health Coaches, Physician Associate, and more.

Job responsibilities

What youll work on

A mix of telephone, face to face and home visit appointments

Understand the patient population to be able to provide high quality care topatients

Undertake both planned and urgent primary care as required

Provide patient focussed, evidence-based practice to a high standard

Supporting the wider MDT to ensure patients with long term and/or complex health conditions are care for at the right time, by the right clinician

What were looking for

An individual registered with the GMC and on the GP Specialty register

Experienced GP with a background in either primary or urgent care

A GP who is on the performers list

Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the business

Excellent organisational skills
