And as a Specialist in Psychiatry, you’ll know how to best help the patients with complex mental health needs in our care.

Working 15 hours a week at Rosebank House Hospital alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will be the clinical expert from a medical perspective to ensure best practice care is delivered and support the team. You will also work collaboratively with NHS clinicians and commissioners.

Rosebank House Hospital is a small, friendly and established Open mental health Rehab service in Reading, with a team that works well together and supports each other.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
• Medication management
• Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
• Delivery of NICE guidance
• Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Full GMC registration with licence to practice
• MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
• Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
• Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT.
• Widespread and detailed experience of assessment and management of patients in psychiatry
• Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients

Essential

• You will need to have an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification, full GMC registration with a licence to practice, MRCPsych or equivalent, Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status, and the clinical training and experience required for gaining a UK CCT. Additionally, you should have widespread and detailed experience in the assessment and management of patients in psychiatry, as well as the ability to take full and independent responsibility for their clinical care.
