As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. With previous experience in a similar setting from the NHS or private sector as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) working 37.5 hour weeks. You will be responsible for the clinical environment where you will provide leadership to your peers and manage the clinical services throughout the wards and units. What you will be doing: As a Senior Staff Nurse you will be working within a team that includes a range of professionals to support women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. You will work within an identified career development pathway and be expected to complete appropriate competency development portfolio. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. The service offers a blended model of rehabilitation that combines a traditional rehabilitation environment with single and dual occupancy apartments, to provide a seamless care pathway for women with a Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and a history of trauma and/or attachment disorders. You will work in an environment where there is a strong emphasis on positive risk taking which enables self-reliance and builds trust and self-esteem, with a focus on psychological input.
