Job responsibilities

If you are an experienced Hospital Director or senior clinician with a strong background in leading high performing teams, looking for a new opportunity to put your mark on an established medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) service for women who have Personality Disorder and Mental Health conditions, then apply to join the team at Arbury Court.

You will be leading and managing full clinical and administrative teams, ensuring excellent care is delivered and maintained, and ensuring quality and financial targets are met.

As the Hospital Director at Arbury Court, you will have overall leadership and management responsibility of the service, leading the services multidisciplinary team, and be responsible for operational performance whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and patients, and also reflect market trends and evidence-based practice.
  • Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met,
  • Leading the senior management team on site, developing local strategy of the service, ensuring adherence to the service’s objectives, quality improvement and business plans.
  • Promoting and enhancing the hospital’s reputation for specialist care and service
  • Fulfilling the role of Registered Manager as per CQC expectations
  • Engagement with Provider Collaboratives

To be successful as Hospital Director, you will have:

  • A excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector
  • A clinical background in and understanding of medium, and low secure, and psychiatric intensive care (PICU) services
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential).
  • An emphasis on performance and delivery in order to support successful service delivery and development, budget control, business development and revenue generation.
  • A credible, inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership and sound underpinning knowledge to provide direction and implement change.
  • Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical operational activities within a health sector organisation.
  • Working knowledge of the NHS and Independent Healthcare sectors.

The service is located just off the M62 jnc 9 in Winwick, which benefits from good transport links, making it easy to commute to from most local areas between Liverpool and Manchester.
