Full time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time (3 shifts per week) are available, and whether you are looking to start a new career or already work in healthcare through the NHS or private sector, you will receive all necessary training and support to join the team.

What you will be doing
You’ll be working with adults and young people with a range of acute mental health conditions, which will bring daily challenges and require you to be focused, engaged and have really good personal awareness and communication skills. This doesn’t mean just being able to talk or write, but being able to pick up on body language, social cues, and to be able to react and respond appropriately, fully explaining in a way that people in your care will understand.
You will be working as part of an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care, using your naturally compassionate nature and knowledge and skills to support people through their care pathway to lead a fulfilled life.

Where you will be working
Location: 190 Barnet Road, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 2SE
Potters Bar Clinic comprises two acute mental health wards for adult men and women, and two CAMHS Tier 4 low secure wards for young people aged 13-18.
Located in a residential area, Potters Bar Clinic is only a one minute drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station with a bus stop right outside, making it an easy commute for most.
The shift patterns include working nights and weekends (3 months of the year on nights, on average), 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week with a one-hour unpaid break. On a Full-Time Contract you will work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday the following week on a 2-week rolling rota. Shift times are 7.15am-7.45pm.
