Main duties of the job

As a Bank Support Worker and Driver, your day-to-day responsibilities will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. This is a bank, 0 Hour Contract and shifts are 12.5 hours per day.

Where you will be working

Location: Dyke Road Avenue, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 5LE

You will be working at Dane House, an immaculate, a six bed service for people with Learning Disabilities and/or with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. It boasts a range of communal amenities including sensory facilities and a large garden.

You will be caring for people who may have transitioned from residential schools or colleges, moved out of the family home or who need to move from a failed placement in the community.

Dane House is within easy distance of local shops, leisure facilities, churches and cafes, and is just 3 miles from the centre of Brighton. Brighton has excellent transportation links across Sussex and the south coast and London is just an hour away by train.
