Job summary
At Arbury Court in Warrington, you will provide one to one and group guidance, and comprehensive educational fitness and healthy lifestyle programs to service users to achieve their fitness goals to support their care plans. Working alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will support females with complex needs mental health and associated physical health issues. You will be able to design relevant fitness programs that will help engage the service users and benefit their recovery.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities:
Demonstrate the exercises and ensure that the patient is performing the exercises correctly.
Explain the effects of exercises to patients.
Ensure that exercise equipment is in good condition.
Motivate the patient to achieve the set fitness goals.
Be punctual and ensure that the designed workout routine is followed properly.
Provide health, nutrition and fitness programme for the patient group.
To track and document progress record and analyse accordingly the workout programme.
To facilitate evidence based individual and group sessions.
To produce specific progress reports as per service level agreements.
To ensure that local policies, procedures and protocols are adhered to.
In liaison with the Practice Nurse and Lead Nurse per site to actively contribute to the development of evidence based, clinically governed best practice.
