Main duties of the job

To hold a caseload of clinical work, including carrying out individual psychological intervention Undertake collaborative risk assessment and management for individual patients and to provide general advice Carry out these duties in consultation with the Lead Psychologist and identified supervisor, and contribute to the maintenance and development of a high quality psychological service

Qualifications

Desirable

  • 2:1 Psychology degree
  • To meet professional practice expectations and the BPS code of ethics
  • A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR)

Experience

  • Experience of working within a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit/Acute Mental Health Setting
