Job summary

Mental Health Practitioner Salary: From £38,907 per annum Permanent: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 38 weeks, part time considered Location: Lufton College, Yeovil

Main duties of the job

You will be providing a therapeutic service to young people placed within Lufton College by assessing and identifying their needs and meeting them through consultation and training to Residential and Educational staff, direct therapeutic work, care planning and management in conjunction with the Multi-disciplinary team. Dependant on your experience you may be required to supervise other Mental Health Practitioners, Healthcare Students and Assistants.

This post is a newly created role to join a successful expanding team, the post will require someone with previous experience of working in CAMHS settings.

Cambian Lufton College

For over 40 years,CambianLufton College has provided specialist further education services in the South West, offering day and38 weekresidential placements (with options to extend to 52 weeks) for young people aged 16 to 25 typically with a diagnosis of autism, a learning disability and complex needs.

Job Role

You will be providing a therapeutic service to young people placed within Lufton College by assessing and identifying their needs and meeting them through consultation and training to Residential and Educational staff, direct therapeutic work, care planning and management in conjunction with the Multi-disciplinary team.
