Main duties of the job
Were seeking an experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics at CHEC. Youll ensure all sites and stock hubs are efficiently supplied and manage operations at the Central Stock Hub in Preston.
This role is key to optimising stock levels, controlling costs, and upholding quality standards across our supply chain.

Lead the implementation of RFID stock management systems and maintain accurate stock and cost records.
Forecast demand and plan future stock requirements based on activity levels.
Manage purchasing processes from supplier setup to invoice approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with clinical and senior teams to approve new consumables and equipment.
Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures in line with regulations and company standards.
Drive cost control and value creation across the supply chain.
