Job summary
The key responsibilities of the Theatre Practitioner will be to focus on patient centric care, participating in the entire pathways for all patients from pre-admission, surgery, and post-operative management. You will be an experienced Theatre Practitioner undertaking preoperative assessment, diagnostics testing, and theatre scrub under AfPP good practice guidance.
Main duties of the job
Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients, friends, and families Prepare clinical areas for clinical activities Assist surgeons in the delivery of ophthalmic care Admission and discharge of patients Participate in departmental audits Pro-active and keen to learn and have a passion to deliver quality care Have effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills Thrives in a team environment
