Main duties of the job

The role holder is to be accountable for high quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community minor surgery service

Essential

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery, Accredited GPwERs or GPwSI in Dermatology who also perform Minor Surgery
  • Evidence of specialty training in a relevant field, such as, Dermatology, General Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
  • Proven experience in performing minor surgical procedures independently.
  • Proficiency in local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Performers List proof (any performers list in the UK is acceptable)
