Main duties of the job

The Partnership Manager is responsible for securing new business for CHEC via outsourcing contracts with Acute Trusts. We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to build strong relationships with Acute Trusts, identify opportunities and develop suitable proposals for CHEC to support. This role will also support GP engagement regionally in conjunction with regional teams to increase CHECs referrals in this area.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Oversee the implementation of new contracts with acute trusts in line with CHEC processes. Develop and lead on formal presentation of CHECs service offering, identifying potential new markets. Develop rapport and strong relationships with the external marketplace in acute trusts to make CHEC the provider of choice. Oversee established contract performance internally and externally to Acute Trusts, identifying areas for improvement or upselling. Escalate any queries or complaints following the correct procedures and handle areas of underperformance, concerns or objections arising from partners. Support the development GP engagement with a view to increase referrals in this area. Possess a strong understanding of the CHEC service model and the wider NHSEI landscape. Build strong relationships with Acute Trusts to aid the effective delivery of serviced contracts and the development of new arrangements. Gauge the needs of potential partnerships and develop suitable proposals for CHEC to sup-port. Actively review Integrated Care System RTT performance data, wider NHSEI obstacles and identify potential opportunities for CHEC to increase service provision. Lead on strategies to identify opportunities with existing relationships and contracts.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business growth.
  • Experience in healthcare is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities effectively.
  • Proficient in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute business development plans.
  • Project management skills to oversee the entire sales cycle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated and driven individual
