Main duties of the job

The Director of Partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving growth, expansion into new markets and revenue generation for CHEC. The purpose of this role is to assist in spearheading business development initiatives aimed at increasing brand awareness, resonance and NHS referrals from Optometrists and General Practitioners across England. The successful candidate will lead a field-based and regional team, providing strategic direction and support to achieve organisational growth objectives.

Job responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organisational goals, focusing on expanding referrals in Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology services through effective and strategic partnerships and relationship management. Develop a suite of KPIs for field-based colleagues that are measurable and reflect outcomes. Foster and maintain strong and strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including Local Optical Committees, Local Medical Councils, Optometrists, General Practitioners, NHS decision-makers, and other relevant healthcare professionals to enhance brand and referral networks and drive business growth. Conduct thorough market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and market trend changes to inform strategic decision-making and forecast planning. Support the field based teams in delivering the organisations strategic objectives through effective stakeholder partnering internally and externally and ongoing relationship management. Provide leadership to the business development and engagement department across the organisation to create value for patients, customers, and the community in line with standards for better business Lead the department in delivering service excellence to referring stakeholder partners, formulating robust account plans, and developing constructive engagement mechanisms to enhance referrer experience of the organisation through operational enhancements and acting on intelligence.
