Main duties of the job
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Regional Facilities Technician to support our team in identifying and troubleshooting both maintenance and technical problems within CHECs Estates and Facilities, conducting preventive and reactive maintenance, implementing safety procedures, and maintaining accurate records of activities via CHEC Facilities software.

Job responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections and planned and unplanned maintenance of CHECs buildings and medical equipment
Conduct First line maintenance of building systems and equipment, including but not limited to plumbing, lighting, and medical equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and medical equipment identifying the root cause
Liaising with third party contractors to ensure work is completed within agreed timeframes
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities via Facilities Software
Assist with the coordination of building safety and emergency procedures as per H&S policy
Respond to calls from the Facilities team regarding maintenance and repairs
Regularly review building systems and equipment to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
Regularly travel between sites to conduct general maintenance as requested
Undertake Fault find accreditation with CHECs Medical equipment providers
