Job summary
Our Neurodevelopmental Clinical team is the biggest in the UK and our aim is to provide high quality diagnostic assessments as well as in some areas, offering post-diagnostic support to help children, young people and their families understand their diagnosis.
Main duties of the job
Healios Neurodevelopment Service clinicians have a central and vital role within the company, delivering assessments and intervention to neurodiverse individuals and their families. This position requires at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in undertaking ADHD assessments and post diagnostic support and intervention. Healios structured assessments involve sessions conducted face-to-face via the Healios online platform.
You will be working autonomously to conduct elements of the assessment, with the support of a multidisciplinary team. This would include collating information across time and context to support your observations and your formulation of the assessment for discussion and conclusion. It would also be beneficial to identify in your application if you have experience of conducting other neurodevelopmental assessments. A high standard of report writing is essential for this role.
As a part of the Healios neurodevelopment service you would have the opportunity to undertake training to complete autism assessments, including the use of associated tools (for example ADiR and ADOS).
