Location: Mindelsohn Way, Birmingham, B156 2FQ

Hours: Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday & Occasional Saturdays.

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive dependent on skills & experience & 4% shift enhancement.

We are actively inviting experienced Scrub Theatre Practitioners to join our World-class Theatres team at the newly-opened Harborne Hospital, in Birmingham. The Worlds largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care.

If you are an experienced Scrub Theatre Nurse / Theatre Practitioner and can offer a weekly commitment of full time hours, we would very much like to hear from you. Maybe you haven't worked in the Private healthcare sector before and would like to see how this compares to the public sector. Job Description:

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you'll support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients. You will have an impressive level of knowledge and will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in the theatre setting in a variety of areas including Gynae, Orthopaedics, ENT, Cardiac & Thoracic Care, Cancer Care, Urology.

What you'll bring:

• Current HCPC / NMC Registration
• 1-2 Years experience working in Operating Theatres.
• Excellent Communication skills
• Scrub experience in a range of surgical specialities
• Extensive experience in a similar role.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

• Minimum 1-2 years experience working in Operating Theatres in a Variety of areas including Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT, Urology, Gynae, Spinal.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Essential

• Diploma of higher education in Nursing or a Degree in operating department practice.
• HCPC/NMC Registration
