Job summary

Were looking for a Senior Specialist Pharmacist with Cardiology and Critical Care experience to join our team at HCA at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

The post holder will be working with specialist consultants, ward managers and nursing teams providing a clinical pharmacy service in supporting acutely unwell patients. You will ensure that safe and effective systems are in place for the use of medicines. You will help drive the medicines optimisation agenda forward through audit, research and innovation to ensure patients receive the very best pharmaceutical care tailored to their needs.

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Specialist Pharmacist, you'll work across both our inpatients and outpatient areas, using your expertise to provide support and advice to our multi-disciplinary teams.You will also be able to grow your career as you will be exposed to advanced care pathways by leading Cardiac Consultants and other members of the MDT team. As a hospital based Specialist Pharmacist, you will work within our wards and dispensary to provide the best possible support and counselling to both inpatients and outpatients. In return you will become part of a network of peers who will support you with your learning and development through the opportunity to gain an Independent Prescribing Course
