Job summary

Were looking for a Junior Sister to join our Oncology Unit at The Christie Private Care, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC. HCA Healthcare UK has developed a dedicated private centre in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester. The Christie Private Care treats private patients with a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day case and outpatient treatment all on one site.

The Oncology Inpatient Unit enables nurses to deliver high standards of holistic care to patients with cancer, and each member of the team has specific expertise in treating and supporting patients through their cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

Working alongside an experienced nursing team you'll assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care while also being an advocate for the patient, ensuring all their medical, physical and emotionally needs are met.

Its a great opportunity to make a significant difference to the unit and its patients. In return, you'll have the chance to build a career at the forefront of Cancer care. With access to ground breaking treatments currently not licenced on the NHS.

Our clinical teams are very nurse led so you'll have more control over assessment and treatment decisions while having the support you need to develop your career into Sister or Matron roles, whether thats through regular development sessions from external speakers or one of our many funded courses, including masters level qualifications.
