Role: Senior Pharmacy Technician - Medicines Management

Location: HCA at UCH, Central London

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with contribution to weekend shifts on rota basis

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our HCA at UCH Grafton Way Building and Macmillan Cancer Centre. Based in London's medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. This post has been created due to growth.

Main duties of the job

As a key member of the Pharmacy Team, the Senior Pharmacy Technician will work withthe Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology in running a technician-based medicines optimisation/management service. The post holder will have day to day responsibility for various elements within medicines management/optimisation and will support with training and development of trainee technicians/pharmacy assistants.
