Immunisation/Vaccination Nurse - Redbridge

Job summary

We have a number of bank posts available within our Redbridge team for the flu season, commencing Monday September 25th. Your role will be to deliver the nasal and IM flu vaccination to children of school age as part of our School Aged Immunisation Service. Our services are primarily delivered on-site in schools for children of primary and secondary age, however, we also deliver these immunisations in community clinic settings.

These roles commence on Monday 25th of September, and there is part time and full time work available from Monday to Friday. Your working hours would be 0830 - 1530.

The ability to drive with access to a vehicle is desirable for this role.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be responsible for administering IM and nasal flu vaccinations to school aged pupils. Working to high standards, your role is to ensure patient safety is maintained whilst supporting the team in the efficient delivery of care.

Since 2015, NHS England has contracted Vaccination UK, a dynamic and rapidly growing company, to provide school-aged immunisations, including influenza vaccinations, to students in many counties and boroughs across England, including the Black Country, Hertfordshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and nine North East London boroughs.
