Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for excellence in patient care? Join KIMS Hospital, Kent’s largest independent hospital, as we expand our multidisciplinary team in pursuit of becoming a leading Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence.

With an average of 150 joint replacements per month, primarily hips and knees, we are broadening our therapy services to include a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-thinking Therapy team making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide expert assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs in both inpatient and pre-assessment settings.
  • Contribute to our expanding orthopaedic pathway, supporting patients through their recovery and maximising independence.
  • Collaborate within an evolving multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based care and clinical excellence.
  • Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students, while actively contributing to professional development across the team.
  • Play a key role in patient experience initiatives, service improvements, and clinical audits.
