Are you a physiotherapist who has experience in working in Outpatients?Do you want more time to care being able to offer 30–45 minute appointments to your patients? As a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist, you will assess and treat outpatients, determine independent clinical diagnosis and physiotherapy treatment indicated, and maintain records in accordance with professional standards.
You will be a patient focused Physiotherapist with experience in MSK and Orthopaedics and a demonstrable ability to build relationships with both patients and consultants to provide healthcare at its very best. You will have evidence of your own continued professional development and the desire to mentor junior members of staff.
Our Outpatient Therapy department is comprised of a diverse multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Hand therapists, Women’s Health Specialists, Sports Medicine Consultants, Osteopaths and an administrative support team who work together with a shared goal of KIMS Hospital becoming an Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence promot
Main duties of the job
- To carry out assessments of patients as an autonomous practitioner, including those with complex presentations, using developed clinical reasoning gained through training and previous experience
- Formulate and deliver treatment and rehabilitation programmes based on clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice
- Assist in the support and development of more junior members of the team and participate in the development and review of service and professional standards within the department
- Contribute to the implementation of hospital policies and procedures in line with the CSP, CQC and other governing bodies
- Engage with other medical professionals both internally and externally, maintaining professional clinical relationships
