As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you’ll be a vital part of our dynamic Theatres team, delivering top-notch clinical care while mentoring junior staff.
This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) offers flexibility with 3 shifts between Monday and Saturday, 07:45 – 17:45, plus 1 Saturday per month.

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
- Work primarily as a scrub practitioner within Orthopaedics.
- Lead and mentor junior members of the team, deputising for the Lead Theatre Practitioner when necessary.
- Prepare operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery as required.
- Ensure the highest standards of infection prevention and control are carried out.
- Assessing patient care requirements, implementing care, and evaluating outcomes.
