We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and empathetic registered Nurse to join our Imaging Department to work flexibly covering week day and evening shifts Monday - Friday

As a Registered Nurse you will provide support for a wide range of Imaging, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac diagnostic procedures including ultrasound and breast clinics.

You will be a caring and compassionate nurse who is totally patient focused and have the ability to build a rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

Main duties of the job

Role Responsibilities

As a registered nurse in the imaging department you will:

• Demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for own actions, working within the NMC code of conduct.
• Provide nursing support for a wide range of Imaging procedures including imaging guided injections, biopsies, aspirations and drainages and assist in CT and Nuclear Medicine scanning
• Assist with Myocardial Perfusion Scansin Nuclear Medicine for Support and act as a role model for more junior staff
• Assess, plan and deliver care based on each individual patient needs
