Job summary

KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting for a NHS Administrator to join our fast-paced NHS Team on a bank contract.

Our NHS team is made up of Administrators and Compliance Officers who are responsible for managing the NHS referrals to the hospital and acting as liaison and a point of contact between NHS referrers and the hospital.

As an NHS administrator you will be supporting the processing of new NHS referrals via eRS and carry out general administrative duties. 

Main duties of the job

  • To support the processing of new NHS referrals
  • To contact patients, confirming their appointment following clinical review
  • To provide a point of contact to referrers for referral queries
  • Ensure any trackers are kept up-to-date and submitted on time in line with any contractual terms
  • Support with preparation of reports

Hourly Rate: £11.00 per hour

KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and we are recruiting for a NHS Administrator to join our fast-paced NHS Team on a bank contract.

  • Effective time management
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially in data entry
  • Excellent IT skills – especially Microsoft Excel
  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent (desirable)
