Job summary

We are looking for an administrator to join our HR Team. This role will play a vital role in supporting the Lead HR Advisor, HR Advisor and Training Co-ordinator.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone to take their first steps within a HR team.  Previous HR experience is not required as full training will be provided.

Main duties of the job

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with Recruitment, HR, Payroll and Learning and Development to assist with compliance and documentation for the Hospital
  • Concisely and effectively record and collate all new starter information onto our HR files and audit against regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for updating DBS’s for all existing employees
  • Support the data input of weekly timesheets and reporting of sickness records
  • Responsible for issuing letters confirming changes to employment contracts
  • Responsible for maintaining leavers process, collating leavers forms, letters and ensuring paper and electronic files are filed correctly.
  • Assist the HR Team with ad-hoc projects as required

  • Good standard of secondary education at least 5 GCSE A-C grades or equivalent including maths and English Language.
  • Previous experience as an administrator in a busy and diverse environment
  • Experience of working in a regulated industry (desirable)
  • Experience of HR administration in a healthcare environment (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and levels of accuracy, specifically for data input
  • Ability to prioritise your workload under your own initiative
