KIMS Hospital are looking for a person with excellent customer service skills and who enjoys being active in their work to join our Bank team as a Guest Services Assistant.

We have vacancies to join our Bank team as a Guest Services Assistant where you will be supporting our talented and skilled Catering and Housekeeping Department providing an exceptional service to our patients and staff. You will also be required to complete a variety of tasks to support the team including assisting the chefs, cleaning of areas and washing equipment and cutlery.

Role Responsibilities include:

• To ensure that all food and drinks orders are taken, prepared and served to the agreed standard, menus for each service are organised and that guests/patients are served according to their requirements
• Wash up crockery and cutlery used in the provision ofmeal services within the kitchen and using the automated dishwashing equipment
• Temperature check foods and record prior to service to patients
• To clean common areas, patient rooms and bathrooms as well as clinical areas to the required high standards
• To work within infection control guidelines when involved with isolation/barrier nursing areas.
• To undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade that may be required by Guest Services Lead or Facilities Manager for the efficient running of the Guest Services (HK & Catering) Department.

Person Specification:

• Have experience working within the hospitality industry, either within catering or housekeeping
• Ability to work efficiently and keep calm, under pressure
• Possess some knowledge of catering and cleaning standards
• Have exceptional attention to detail, customer service skills and be a confident and dynamic team player.
• Ideally experienced working within a medical setting, however this is not essential
