Job summary

Acting as the first point of contact between guests and the hospital.  Meet and greet patients, answering guest enquiries, directing guests to the right department, keeping the lobby area clean.

This is a complex service operation which will operate 12 hours a day, 7 days a week therefore weekend working will be required.

Main duties of the job

  • Direct guests to the relevant departments and answer any queries they may have
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to our patients, going above and beyond to make them feel safe and welcome while at the hospital
  • Anticipate patient and visitor needs by providing an excellent guest experience
  • Supervise the arrival and dispatch of patient transport vehicles including ambulances and ensuring they do not cause hazards outside the hospital.
  • Manage the consultant rooms from the administration side. Make sure that all the forms are in the correct place and all the room features are in good order as per SOP. Also, all the room charges are recorded correctly on the excel sheet for accounts.
