Job summary
This is an opportunity to provide key data insights for a young people's mental health charity in a flexible role, based minimum 1 day/week in our office and 1-2 days working from home.
Based in London, Open Door is dedicated to improving the mental health and emotional well-being of young people aged 12-24 in their transition from childhood to adulthood. Last year we have offered over 9,000 appointments to nearly 900 young people/parents/carers. We provide an inclusive service for young people and parents from all backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities. Open Door is commissioned by North Central London NHS and receives other funding from Charitable Trusts, contracts and donations.
JOB PURPOSE
Monitoring & evaluation through data analysis is vital for:
- clinical oversight
- the internal management of our services & Trustees scrutiny of progress
- meeting the reporting requirements for contracts and grants
- competing for new work
- developing our external profile PR, marketing etc
- growing our evidence base (including research)
We are recruiting a dedicated individual to manage our data analysis workstream. The aim of this is to manage a suite of automatically generated and standardised monthly reports which meet the requirements of a set of KPIs designed to support senior managers, Trustees and funders and to respond to ad hoc data requests.
Main duties of the job
- Responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the data reports and analytics platforms.
- Develop data models using PowerBI to facilitate the conversion of raw data into actionable insights
- Utilise PowerBI to present information in an easy-to-understand format for both clinical staff and management
- Create interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI that provide critical insights into service utilization, counselor performance, and client outcomes
- Provide specialist support and advice to ad hoc requesters of analysis in suitable report formats to meet their requirements
- Responsible for the data integrity and quality/compliance of the core informatics systems
