About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Junior Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting our data analysis initiatives, helping to unlock valuable insights from our datasets to drive strategic decision-making and business success.

By joining our BI team, youll help shape the future of Shropdoc as we continue our exciting journey of providing an innovative and agile BI service that supports decision-making for the organization and its managers.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and distribute regular reports.

Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden insights and provide valuable information for decision-making.

Create visually appealing and informative dashboards to effectively communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.

Document methodologies, assumptions, and data sources used in the analysis for future reference.

Implement data validation and quality checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data.

Requirements:

One year experience in a similar role

Strong proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel: lookups, pivot tables, power query.

Familiarity with Power BI and SQL

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Main duties of the job

The Junior Data Analyst will play an important role in Business Intelligence Team by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to uncover valuable insights that support decision-making. They work closely with different teams to understand data requirements and offer analytical support for decision-making. By exploring data, they identify patterns and trends, and present their findings through clear visualisations and reports.

A successful Junior Data Analyst should possess a strong proficiency in data analysis using MS Excel, supplemented with some experience in SQL and Power BI. Additionally, they should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. These attributes are essential for effectively presenting and explaining data findings to non-technical stakeholders. Identify and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies to ensure accurate and trustworthy analysis.
