Domestic Assistant - National Artificial Eye Service

Job summary

We're looking for a reliable and friendly domestic to carry out general cleaning duties to the recognised standards.

The role will be based in the National Artificial Eye Services, Bispham and will see you cleaning both clinical and non-clinical areas, from 17:15 to 19:15, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who can communicate clearly with both colleagues and members of the public, in order to complete their tasks to high-standard and in a safe way.

We need you to be comfortable working alone, but also be able to work as part of a team when required.

Our ideal candidate for this role will be reliable, able to use their own initiative, be conscientious and will take pride in their work.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
