Summary

This purpose of this role is to oversee the management of the compliance management databases and associated systems. The post holder will utilise excellent administrative skills, supporting the department in the development and monitoring of policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems to ensure DHC Group meet its statutory, regulatory and wider compliance requirements.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Collate risk management information into formats that facilitate consideration and decision making by individuals and committees
  • Support governance and risk management arrangements through audits and quality management in relation to incidents and risk management and assist the team in the coordination of a Quality & Risk service, to the company and external businesses
  • Support the Head of Quality and Risk to ensure compliance with the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF)
  • To provide support with administrative functions as required and contribute quality improvement projects
  • Gather the information needed for complaints and subject access request and compile the documentation into accessible documents to be provided to the complainant and/or individual
  • Champion effective reporting of all adverse incidents and near misses into Origami and ensure that information is accurate and up to date for reporting purposes
  • Triage all reported clinical incidents and escalate in accordance with policy
  • Collection of data to support ISO accreditations.
  • Manage the document control processes for DHC Group and co-ordinate the annual policy review process to ensure policies and procedures are up to date
  • Co-ordinate the completion of required risk assessments on an annual cycle
  • Prepare governance reports for various committees including PSQR, Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Information Governance
  • Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as required
