You must have the flexibly work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
A base salary of £40,000 on a 4-shift on (2 days, 2 nights) then 4-shift off pattern, scheduled for 2 years ahead so you can plan your life. (Averages 42 hours per week).
On top of this, you get a £1,000 completion bonus when you successfully complete 12 months of service.

Main duties of the job
The custody suites can be an energetic place to work, with no two shifts the same. Whilst detained, we provide individuals with all their physical, mental healthcare and wellbeing needs, as well as gather any forensic samples needed by the police to aid their investigations. Making careful records on our computerised systems, you'll be assessing whether people are fit to be detained or released, administering medications when needed, and working with local Liaison and Diversion teams to address root cause issues that can prevent future crime.

- Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field (General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service)as an Adult RN or Registered Paramedic.
- 3 years UK residency
- You will need a current manual driving license with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals.
- All candidates are subject to police vetting checks
