Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Manager to lead our Pre-Assessment service on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
Lead and manage the Pre-Assessment service, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality patient care
Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care across multiple clinical teams
Provide strong clinical and operational leadership, supporting and developing your team
Deliver against key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient running of the department
Embed clinical governance, risk management, and continuous improvement into daily practice
Lead audits and service reviews, implementing action plans to drive improvements
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards, including CQC requirements
Manage resources effectively, including staffing and stock control, working closely with finance colleagues
Build strong relationships with consultants and external stakeholders to support service growth
Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance service delivery and patient experience
Promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion across the team
Ensure accurate and compliant handling of patient information in line with data protection requirements
