Due to an internal promotion Spire Norwich Hospital are looking for a Deputy Anaesthetics & Recovery Team Leader to join their experienced and dynamic team on a full time basis. As a deputy team leader you will ensure the team delivers effective patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership, maximising effective theatre utilisation.

The pharmacy in an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, we are very much part of the hospital clinical team providing valuable medicines management support to the hospital

Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To provide exemplary planned care for patients requiring perioperative intervention while managing a team.
  • Assist in developing practice in the assessment of health and well-being needs.
  • Assist in developing and improve services.
  • Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice within the specialty of surgical care.
  • Plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain and support the effective use of physical and financial resources.
  • Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment.

  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
  • Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for the service
