Spire Hull and East Riding hospital, based in Hull
are now recruiting a HCA to join their warm and friendly team in the
Outpatients Department.

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical
procedures, you will support in assessing patients health and well-being
across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to
meet the patients needs. You will actively promote best practice and
contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data,
interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this
available to relevant others.
Main duties of the job
To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in a variety of hospital settings.
Accountabilities
- Undertake routine tasks related to individuals health and well being
- Assess the health and wellbeing needs of people whose needs are relatively stable and consistent.
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matter
- Develop own and others personal development.
- Monitor and maintain health and safety and security for self and others
- Contribute to the implementation of services
- Ensure own actions promote quality
- Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights
- Acknowledge the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) and understand own responsibility as agreed with line manager in the prevention and control of HCAI.
