CT Radiographer | Radiology | Band 6 dependent on experience | Portsmouth | Part Time Spire Portsmouth have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to join our Imaging Department. We offer ongoing training with CT and other areas of radiography Spire Portsmouth is a 50 bedded hospital consisting of 2 wards. Although there is no critical care facility, the hospital does have an endoscopy suite and 3 operating theatres. The outpatient department has two procedure rooms, two treatment rooms, and 12 consulting rooms. The diagnostic imaging department offers plain X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, MRI and CT scans. Physiotherapy treatment is offered as an inpatient and outpatient service in its own physiotherapy suite of gym and treatment areas. There is an accredited sterile services department and pathology laboratory on site.

Main duties of the job
The diagnostic imaging department offers plain X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, MRI and CT scans. Physiotherapy treatment is offered as an inpatient and outpatient service in its own physiotherapy suite of gym and treatment areas. There is an accredited sterile services department and pathology laboratory on site.
The hospital works in partnership with local NHS acute hospital trusts, for example in recent provision of robotic surgery, and there is a large refurbished outpatient department along with extensive diagnostic imaging services
- Providing highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients and to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required
- Communicateappropriately with others involved in the care of the patient
- Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained
