We are currently seeking three experienced Orthotist who are looking for
an opportunity to be develop their career and be a part of our large and
dynamic team in London and Surrounding areas.
We can offer full time or part time job positions, in some of London
prestige Hospitals.
We currently have positions in central London and East
London. The role will cover multiple sites across London.
The role will involve working with a
complex clinical case load, it will present exciting opportunities to develop
clinical and leadership skillsets.
Due to working with some of London most
prestige hospitals this opens the opportunity for career development, into
specialist areas and leadership.
Working at: London and Surrounding areas (OCS)
Opcares London and surrounding area
(OCS) covers 13 NHS Trusts, some of the most prestige trusts in London. This
includes Great Osmond Street, The National Hospital of Neuro and Neurosurgery,
UCLH and Chelsea and Westminster to name a few.
OCS runs some of the leading MDT clinic
in the UK, from joint diabetic clinic with the leading international diabetic
podiatry surgeon, complex neuro clinic at NHNN, scoliosis clinic, complex
paediatric clinics at Great Osmond Street and complex KAFO clinics.
This dynamic range of extended
practices and complex MDTs provides a great opportunity to be exposed to
interesting and varied caseloads.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Some of the key responsibilities the role holder will have
responsibility for:
- Ensure the
delivery of high-quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the
service
- Working
closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs)
- Inputting and leading on initiatives
within the centre service development plan
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of
patients to determine their orthotic needs
- Develop and implement personalised
orthotic treatment plans
- Say up to date with the latest
advancements in orthotic technology and practices
- Provide excellent patient care,
education, and support throughout the treatment process
- Assessing, measuring, casting,
fitting, suppling, reviewing and adjusting orthoses as required
- Maintaining appropriate clinical
notes
The role will be instrumental in helping to develop and implement
service improvements for the betterment of patients in London and Surrounding
areas (OCS)
The successful candidate will join an
enthusiastic and busy team, and be supported with local, regional, and national
training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to
deliver a first class service for users whilst applying the most advanced and
exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
Qualifications:
Either:
- Certified Orthotist
- HN Orthotics
- BSc Orthotics
Must also be fully HCPC Registered
