Job summary
Medinet Clinical Services Ltd are seeking committed ENT Consultants to participate in Waiting List Initiative Sessions for a trust in the South of England. We offer flexibility and additional earning opportunities, all whilst getting you to where patients need you most.
This role is to undertake ENT Outpatient Clinics at weekend only sessions.
The post holder will be accountable to the Medical Director and provide a service in line with local NHS Trust operating guidelines. You are a highly efficient and effective consultant who is patient focussed and highly knowledgeable.
Main duties of the job
Candidates must have:
12 months experience in a substantive or locum NHS Consultant Post
Full GMC registration
Indemnity insurance
Sole trader / Registered Limited Company
You will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly staff. Medinet work with NHS Trusts across the UK to provide additional capacity, to ensure waiting time targets are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Main duties and responsibilities:
- To provide a consultant ENT outpatient/ procedures service to patients
- To work collaboratively with colleagues
- The post holder will be responsible for validation of discharge information. He/she will ensure that the information and pathology results are sent to the appropriate parties, i.e. GP or local MDT
- Attend agreed clinical placements as organised through the Planday app.
- To maintain good working relationships with the contracting NHS Trust and their referring GPs
- To respond in a timely manner to complaints and provide witness statements as required as part of incident management.
- To participate, if required, in case reviews or investigation panels for serious incidents.
- Undertake mandatory training as required and to provide evidence of completion in a timely manner, including annual appraisal.
- To contribute to the accurate collection of statistical information.
PLACE OF WORK
The post holder will be required to work across the UK in line with service needs but limited by personal preference.
