Contract: Permanent
Working hours: 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am-6pm.
Location: Head Office, Sheffield, S35 2PW. Located just off Junction 35A off the M1. We offer free onsite parking.

Our Transcare Pharmacy team are passionate about ensuring we deliver our Homecare products to our patients safely and efficiently.
We have a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenserto join our team where you will be responsible for supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with the administrative tasks around prescription management for our Homecare patients, including picking and dispensing our specialised liquid feed and nutrition bags (TPN) for delivery prior to a check conducted by a Pharmacist or registered Technician.
Transcare is a growing business with our main focus being the patient. We require a team member that is passionate for patients and can work well within a team. Some of the day-to-day activities include, picking and dispensing our specialised nutrition bags from a chilled store. Our team is made up of Superintendent Pharmacist, Pharmacist, Technicians and Dispensers, so we have a vast pool of knowledge and expertise."

Main duties of the job
Here's what you can expect to be doing
- To carry out SAP processes related to deliveries and returned deliveries; for example, creation of deliveries and pick lists
- Checking and book in pharmacy products made in house and sourced from third party suppliers.
- Creating deliveries for homecare patients and generate paperwork to allow for picking of product.
- Picking and accurately dispensing medicinal products from the B. Braun Medical Pharmacy.
- Following up any discrepancies, liaising with Transcare Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Patient Representatives as appropriate.
- Maintain stock levels of all ambient pharmacy products by liaising with internal departments
- Participating in and encourage the use of the system for error/near miss reporting.
What youll need to succeed
- Have a good standard of education, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Be detail focused with the ability to meet daily deadlines.
- Be a strong communicator and work well as a key member of a team.
- Be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritise their workload.
- Experience of working in a dispensary / distribution environment would be desirable
- Applicants without a Dispensing Assistant qualification or equivalent will be expected to undertake this qualification upon commencement of the role.

- Support the homecare pharmacists and checking technicians in the day-to-day dispensing, ordering and supply of products for homecare patients.
- To dispense medicinal products from the Pharmacy e.g. Prescriptions for Homecare patients.
- To carry out SAP processes related to deliveries and returned deliveries; for example, creation of deliveries and pick lists
- To support the Pharmacy Team Leader with maintenance of the pharmacy system and procedures.
- Maintain stock levels of all ambient Pharmacy products by liaising with internal departments.
- To work as part of the BBraun TransCare and wider BBraun team in ensuring that TransCare achieve agreed goals both in terms of financial, profit and service.
- To liaise with cross BBraun divisional departments to support the patient transition from hospital to home ensuring a seamless transition of care.To ensure reports from customers relating to product quality complaints or adverse drug reactions are documented and the essential minimum information is collected and forwarded to the Regulatory Affairs Department the same day they are received.
- Compliance with Distribution standard operating procedures and GDP guidelines
- To support with adherence to the principles of the GPhC standards for registered pharmacies
- Act as an ambassador for continuous improvement in the Pharmacy Team and the wider business
- To act in a professional manner at all times to promote a positive image of the company.
- To deal with other duties and responsibilities which do not change the nature of the post.
- To support the Pharmacy Team Leader and Responsible Pharmacist in dealing with day-to-day operational, technical queries and issues.
- Support the interface between TransCare Service and CAPS including:
- To submit the required prefilled syringe demand on a weekly basis
- Communication to Customer Care and the Nursing Team regarding any patient delivery changes
- Identify any Aseptic stock discrepancies and resolve as appropriate, communicating with the relevant departments. Escalating any issues with relevant Pharmacy Technicians and/or Pharmacist
- Supporting the Pharmacy team on completion of daily operations
- To work with the Pharmacy team to ensure complete set up new homecare parenteral nutrition (PN) patients for TransCare and new dialysis prescriptions for Avitum. This will include:
- Arrange deliveries with courier company.
- Dispense required pharmacy items
- Upload of new prescriptions on to the system
