Solutions4Health are delighted to be offering the role of Wellbeing Coach at Health and Wellbeing 4 Slough.  This is a Full-time permanent job with a salary of £25000 - £27000 depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

Role Summary 

Join our team as a Wellness Coach and make a meaningful impact on community health across Slough! As a vital part of the Health and Wellbeing Slough service, you’ll work alongside a team of Wellness Coaches to deliver essential health programs, bringing support directly to diverse communities through our mobile clinic.

In this role, you will: - Drive and operate the mobile clinic van throughout the Slough area, ensuring our services are accessible to all. - Focus on weight management coaching to help participants make sustainable lifestyle changes. - Support the delivery of other public health programs, including: - NHS Health Checks and General Health Assessments – providing individuals with valuable information to take control of their health. - Falls Prevention– an innovative program aimed at identifying and preventing fall risks within the community. - Stop Smoking Services – guiding clients through a personalized journey to quit smoking.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for health and wellness to utilize their expertise in diverse public health initiatives. Working with Solutions 4 Health, you’ll be part of innovative projects designed to assess health risks, encourage positive lifestyle changes, and promote healthier communities in Slough.

  • Educated to NVQ 3 and/or equivalent, preferably in a health, science or social science field.
  • Experience of working with child and adult Weight Management programmes.
  • Can demonstrate working knowledge, and practical applications, of Clinical Governance.
  • Understanding of public health or related fields and the approaches and tools used to improve health and wellbeing.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate keyboard skills.
