Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Specialist
Community Public Health Nursing (School Nurses) who are passionate in
delivering the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 5-19 years and up to
25 years for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Main duties of the job
Lead on delivering of the Healthy Child
Programme for children 5-19 (25) years across the community of Barnet.
Provide professional leadership to a team of skill
mix staff enabling the efficient and effective delivery of the commissioned
service.
Promote
the emotional health and wellbeing of school aged children and their families
along with their physical and sexual health.
Ensure that children that are identified as SEND
and those with complex health needs and their families receive early
intervention and support from the wider multi-agency team.
To identify vulnerable children and adults at
risk, initiating safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance
with Solutions 4 Health, Barnet Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Safeguarding
Adults Board policies procedures.
To attend safeguarding statutory meetings,
writing case conference reports.
To ensure that the SystmOne electronic records
are updated contemporaneously and that records are of a high quality.
Identify vulnerable children and families offering
early help and interventions in line with Barnets Early Help Strategy.
To be innovative and adaptable to different
approaches to delivering the service.
