Would you like to be part of a team that values your input? Are you looking for an opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice?
We are looking for driven and compassionate candidates to join our teams in Ellern Mede Ridgeway and Barnet in London to help positively shape the lives of the children and young people we work with. As a psychological assistant practitioner, you will help the patients meet their health and social care needs by providing support that is of the highest standard. You will be part of the nursing/ward staff and bring your psychological knowledge and experience (under supervision from the nurses and clinical psychologists) to the young people’s treatment.

You will be offered regular group supervision by a clinical psychologist. As part of your development, you will be offered up to 8 hours online training in enhanced cognitive-behavioural therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E), with a dedicated budget for further CPD training (e.g. in DBT, trauma-informed care, positive-behavioural support/managing challenging behaviour) after 6 and 12 months.
At the end of 12 months service (full time work) you will be entitled for a training budget for relevant courses of up to £750.
